Suspects to identify West end Arson Investigation

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit is seeking public assistance to identify two suspects responsible for an arson in area of Merivale Road and Capilano Drive on April 2nd.
At approximately 1:00 am, two suspects attended a single-family home in the area of Merivale Road and Capilano Drive, poured accelerant on the property and lit a fire. They quickly fled the area on foot.
Suspect 1 is described as a white male, approximately 20-35-years-old, approximately 180 lbs (82 kgs), and believed to be right-handed. At the time of the incident, he is seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray pants with gray running shoes and a ski mask concealing his face and gloves on his hands.
Suspect 2 is described as a white male, approximately 20-35-years-old, approximately 180 lbs (82 kgs), and believed to be left-handed. At the time of the incident, he is seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray pants and black boots. He may have also sustained fire injuries to his face such as singed eyebrows and hair.
