Three suspects to identify in Greenbank Road commercial robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, December 9, 2024 1:20 pm
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying three suspects involved in a commercial robbery and theft in the 2500 block of Greenbank Road on November 12th.
At approximately 2:50 pm, the three suspects entered the store and selected products. One of the suspects (Suspect 3) exited the store by the front door with the items as the other suspects (Suspects 1 and 2) exited the rear of the store with additional items. Staff approached the suspects exiting the rear of the store and tried to retrieve the items. Suspect 1 then threatened staff with a weapon. All three suspects fled the area on foot.
No physical injuries were reported.
Suspect 1 is described as a white male, 35-45 years old, 6’2” (188 cm), approximately 180 lbs (82 kgs), with dark hair and a dark beard. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a black construction jacket, John Deere brand sweater, blue jeans and black shoes.
Suspect 2 is described as a white female, 35-45 years old, approximately 5’2” (157 cm), approximately 160 lbs (73 kgs) with long dark hair. At the time of the incident, she was seen wearing a black construction jacket, black pants and white sport shoes.
Suspect 3 is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 5’10” (178 cm), approximately 200 lbs (91 kgs), with short brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark grey John Deere branded hooded top, black jogging style pants and white running shoes he also seen carrying a black backpack.
