Traffic disruptions in Lowertown and Sandy Hill areas Monday afternoon

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service would like to advise the community that traffic disruptions are expected on Monday, April 24^th when demonstrations are scheduled to occur. 

Demonstrators will be marching from approximately 12noon until 4:00pm along Wellington, Rideau, Wurtemberg and Cobourg Streets, impacting the Lowertown and Sandy Hill areas. There will be rolling road closures during the marches.

There will also be road closures and parking restrictions in the vicinity of the MacDonald Gardens Park that day.

Commuters are asked to avoid the area or use alternate routes during this period, when possible.
