Traffic stop in south end leads to seizure of drugs
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, December 6, 2024 2:28 p.m.
(Ottawa) – Yesterday, South Neighbourhood Resource Team officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bank Street and Conroy Road just before 1 p.m.
During the stop, grounds were formed to conduct a search of the vehicle for cannabis.
Scales, multiple cell phones, baggies, cocaine, Dilaudid, Xanax, and quantity of currency were seized.
Domiguel BEAUCEJOUR VAILLANCOURT-VEILLEUX, 26-years-old, of Ottawa was charged with possession and proceeds of crime-related charges.
Bess-Caitlin SKANKS, 26-years-old, of Ottawa, was charged with having proceeds of crime.
The Drug Unit is continuing the investigation.
