Two shooting investigations: seeking witnesses

(Ottawa)- The Guns and Gangs Unit continues to investigate two shootings that occurred this weekend. 

Frontline Officers responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Heron Road (Vincent Massey Park) on Saturday August 22^nd. 

At approximately 9:00pm, three people were sitting in a parked vehicle when a bullet went through their vehicle.  Debris from the shooting caused minor injuries to one person.

A second shooting occurred yesterday, August 23^rd, at approximately 5:50pm in the 100 block of Knoxdale Road. 

A vehicle pulled up beside a parked vehicle and shot at the parked vehicle. A 27 year old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
