Two suspects to identify in Whitestone Drive home invasion
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, October 1, 2020 1:40pm
(Ottawa) – Frontline officers responded to a home Invasion in the 1-100 block of Whitestone Drive on September 10th.
At approximately 10:42am, two men pointed a gun at the homeowner, who had just arrived home, and forced him to enter his property. Once inside, the suspects encountered other members of the family, at which point the suspects ran off to a running vehicle parked nearby where two more suspects were waiting for them.
The first suspect is described as a Black man, 20-29 years old, 6’0” (183cm). He was wearing grey clothing with a white t-shirt over his shoulder (see photos).
The second suspect is described as a Black man, 20-29 years old, 6’0” (183cm). He was wearing black clothing and a cloth mask over his mouth and nose (see photos).
There are no descriptions of the suspects that were waiting in the vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a grey 4-door Honda with blacked-out rear lights, tinted windows, front winter tires and rear stock rims. It was also equipped with a distinctively loud muffler.
