Two victims of Homicide identified in ongoing investigation on Anoka Street

(Ottawa)—The Homicide Unit continues to investigate a double homicide on Anoka Street that occurred on June 27th.
Jasmine Ready, 15-years-old and Anne-Marie Ready, 50-years-old were both killed in this stabbing incident. A 19-year-old woman was also seriously injured.
A 21-year-old man was shot by responding police officers and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The shooting is being investigated by the Ontario Special Investigations Unit (SIU).

Homicide Investigation: Anoka St.
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service and the Ontario Special Investigations Unit (SIU) are investigating an incident on Anoka St. that resulted in three deaths last night.
At 10:30 p.m. Monday night, Ottawa Police were called to an address on the 1200 block of Anoka St. after reports of a stabbing with multiple victims.
Two people were found deceased at the location. A third person received multiple serious stab wounds and remains in hospital. These three stabbing incidents are being investigated by the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit.
Another individual died after an interaction with police at the scene. The SIU is investigating this death.
