Update: Man charged for Mischief at the McNabb arena
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, November 1st, 2021 11:00am
(Ottawa) – On October 31st, 2021, the Ottawa Police Central Criminal Investigation Unit charged a man in relation to mischief caused at the McNabb Arena.
At approximately 6:10 pm on October 29th, 2021, a man threw objects at the front entrance of the McNabb Arena located on the 100 block of Percy Street causing damage to a window. It was originally reported that the damages may have been caused by a bullet shot from a gun. The investigation clearly indicated that it was not.
A 36 year old man from Ottawa was charged with Mischief and released on an Undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
There is no evidence indicating that this incident targeted any of the services or activities in the facility.

Persons of Interest to Identify in Percy/Gladstone Investigation (images attached)
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two persons of interest in relation to an incident that occurred on October 29th (Friday) between the hours of 1800 and 1900 hrs. The incident occurred in the Gladstone Ave. and Percy St. area.
POI 1: is described as a light-skinned male, between the age of early 40’s to late 50’s, dark moustache, brown winter style jacket, dark tuque, dark pants, black and white runners. Male was seen with a blue reel-style leash holding a knee-high faun (brown) coloured dog with multicoloured face.
POI 2: is described as a light-skinned male, between the ages of early 30’s to late 40’s wearing a black hoodie white logo on the front, dark pants with a black bandana hanging out the left rear pocket, dark-coloured baseball cap with black runners, white soles.

Investigation at McNabb Community Centre
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is conducting an investigation at the McNabb Community Centre on Percy St. after an employee at the facility discovered damage to the building. The investigation is continuing.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident.
