Update: Suspect identified in Carling Avenue theft

(Ottawa) – The Break and Enter Unit would like to thank the public for their assistance. The suspect in March 1st theft has been identified.
The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect to identify in Carling Avenue theft
(Ottawa) – The Break and Enter Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man responsible for a commercial theft that occurred on March 1st, in the 2100 block of Carling Avenue.
At approximately 2:50pm, a man entered a business, selected several items, concealed them in his backpack and then fled the business.
The suspect is described as Caucasian man, 5’10” - 6’0” (178-183cm), 150-160lbs (68-73kg), with dark hair and a receding hairline.
At the time, he was wearing a black Outbound puffy jacket, light blue jeans, camel-coloured desert style boots, wrap-around glasses on the top of his head and a Swiss Gear backpack (see photos).
