Suspect to identify following a vehicle theft on Argyle Avenue last month
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Unit is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in the theft of a work truck from a residential building in the 100 block of Argyle Avenue, on January 25, 2022
The vehicle was stolen at approximately 9:30am, and later seen with a driver and a passenger on Wellington Street West near the intersection of Holland Avenue. A family member captured a still image of the driver in possession of the stolen vehicle at approximately 5:15pm that afternoon.
The driver is described as a Caucasian male, mid to late forties, medium build with a brown/black beard with white parts. There is no description available for the passenger.
The vehicle was later recovered by police in the vicinity, after it was abandoned by the thief.
