Woman to identify in Lowertown Break and Enters

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is looking for the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in two Break and Enters.
On May 26th, the suspect entered an apartment building in the 500 block of Rideau Street and stole packages from the lobby.
On June 13th, the same suspect broke into a religious institution in the 500 block of Rideau Street, stealing several items from within.
The suspect is described as a Black woman, 25 to 30 years old, with short hair and a slim build. She was last seen wearing dark-framed glasses, a black sweater/hoodie with the hood up or a black headscarf, a pink facemask at the chin level, gray pants, and black sneakers with white soles (see photos).
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 4533.
