Fatal Collision on 8th Line Road: police seeking witnesses

(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigations Unit is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred this morning.

At approximately 2:37 AM, officers were called to 8th Line Road near Walker Road in response to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the fatal collision, witnessed a pedestrian walking on 8th Line Road between Van Rens Street and Walker Road around the time of the collision, or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
